Essie Classic

While the limited edition "Love Beverly Hills, xx" red-hot red shade by Essie is not a "classic" - yet - we would be remiss if we did not mention our favorite Essie color (pre- Love, Beverly Hills, XX of course!).

Our favorite go-to color when we're at the salon is Essie's pale pink called "Ballet Slippers." Essie describes it as "An award winning, best selling pale pink, a necessary classic." We couldn't agree more!

You can see all of Essie's signature shades on the Essie Website.

Awareness Bracelets

If you poke around the Montesino Caribbean Bracelet Company's Website, you will see its line of original Awareness Hook Bracelets. Here's what the site says:

Montesino Caribbean Bracelet Company has created this original Awareness Hook Bracelet as our symbolic gesture designed with a precious stone in the color significant to its meaning wrapped in a 14k gold ribbon with a sterling silver band. Many groups have adopted ribbons as symbols of support or awareness, and as a result, many causes often share the same color. These bracelets make a wonderful gift and provide timeless remembrance and awareness to its cause; the strong who have survived and the brave we have lost.

Pretty cool! Check out the awareness bracelets they have and if there is a cause near to your heart, you might be able to wear a hook bracelet to show your support.

Priceless Artwork at Affordable Prices

A visit to the DailyPainters.com online gallery will take your breath away. But the prices will not. Instead, there are beautiful little treasures to lift spirits in this bad economy, many starting at or around $100 for an original, signed oil, acrylic or watercolor painting.

The gallery’s unique format allows the visitor to become intimately familiar with the works and motivations of each artist, and even to communicate with the artists, to learn the stories behind their paintings. This unique accessibility to fine, original art is unmatched.

Paintings can be purchased directly from the artists. Poke around! The site is truly amazing! So much talent!

And if you haven't already, be sure and register to win one a Greenpurse bag this week from SBB. The winner will be announced in Friday's newsletter!
